Newington Green is part of a successful collaboration of 17 Islington Schools.
Future Zone began life through the Government’s ‘Excellence in Cities’ programme. It has evolved to be the current Futurezone. It is a network of schools based in Islington, supporting each other in high quality leadership and teaching development. It is Chaired by the Headteacher’s of Gillespie and Montem Primary Schools and Newington Green is an active participant in the group. We currently have 17 member schools (secondary and primary), based in the London borough of Islington who are all committed to sharing ideas, good practice and supporting each other’s communities.
