OIS understands that the building of a complete individual doesn’t only mean academic excellence but social and physical fitness as well.
The contentment and happiness of our pupils, is an essential prerequisite to their learning and thriving within the school. The diverse Co-curricular Programme for Nursery-Grade 8 offers a selection of activities to cater for the wide range of interests of the pupils. This also helps them to develop social skills plus a mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing.:
THE PURPOSE OF THE CO-CURRICULAR PROGRAMME:
• To provide a variety of meaningful and challenging experiences in a controlled and safe environment.
• To allow individual tastes and interests to be met through enjoyable recreational activities.
• To encourage pupils to develop confidence and self-esteem, and to be responsible members of a team.
Pupils should be encouraged to participate in the activities on offer, as new experiences and understandings will be of great value to their physical, social and mental development.
